A couple of weeks ago my brother asked me to join him for dinner at Briscola – the new Italian trattoria opened by Charles Khabouth and Toufik Sarwa. I was thrilled because I’ve been meaning to go back for a proper meal since the VIP filled opening night party. I was also thrilled because that meant BURRATA. I’m not sure anyone in the world loves Burrata as much as I do… well, maybe just Sam…. Sadly, she couldn’t join us but no worries I captured the whole Briscola Burrata experience on video. 🙂
Apart from the amazing burrata appetizer, our meal was fantastic – authentic recipes using fresh and simple ingredients served in a cool and stylish setting. The vibe in this Italian bistro is casual trendy yet not too posh, as one might think given the ownership. The servers are full of personality and know their menu well – something I recognize as amazing management.
