Montreal’s luxury scene just leveled up in a major way. The highly anticipated grand opening of Canada’s first TimeVallée flagship boutique, in partnership with Maison Birks, took over the stunning new Royalmount shopping centre, bringing out the city’s most stylish crowd for a night of elegance and celebration. Luckily, our editor-in-chief, Steven Branco was in town for the President’s Cup and got a chance to sit down with both Maison Birks’ Jean-Christophe Bédos and TimeVallée’s Emmanuel Perrin.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the sleek facade of the TimeVallée boutique, where golden hues and champagne-coloured lighting set the tone for the evening. Inside, the atmosphere was nothing short of luxurious, with an exclusive guest list of industry insiders, watch collectors, and fashion-forward Montrealers eager to explore this world-class store.
The vibe? Think sophisticated meets approachable, with live music filling the air, signature cocktails making their rounds, and a curated selection of canapés that had everyone talking. The boutique itself, inspired by the curves of Swiss valleys, offered the perfect backdrop for the event, as guests mingled between showcases of prestigious watch brands like Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Chopard.

As the night went on, the energy remained high, with a live DJ spinning beats that kept the party flowing. Guests left not just with memories of a fantastic evening but also with a new appreciation for the intricate world of luxury watchmaking.
