DINR, a free mobile same-day reservation service is now available in Toronto. The app works by matching current availabilities at Toronto’s most highly acclaimed restaurants, with last-minute diners.
Co-founder Kyle Nares says, “DINR is committed to helping diners easily book same-day reservations while at the same time both filling empty seats that arise from cancellations and eliminating no-shows for restaurants.”
The platform is simple and easy to use – a list of curated current availabilities from nearby restaurants is shown each day and a user can confirm reservations with only four taps. And with the success of the app in Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver, Torontonians can expect that number to grow. Since the launch in late 2014, DINR has seen more than 20,000 downloads and seated over 10,000 same-day diners and will continue to add high caliber restaurants to their Toronto roster.
“We are creating a quality driven network of restaurants that represents the best Toronto has to offer. DINR combines reference point curation and on-demand service for both Torontonians and visitors alike seeking out the best culinary experiences,” Nares says.
So the next time you feel like dining out, don’t wait a week. Log in to DINR and see where your taste buds take you.
