Just a couple of weeks after Electrify Canada unveiled their first EV charging station, they’ve made another great announcement. With their aim to make EV charging even more accessible to Canadians, Electrify Canada will expand its nation-wide EV network with over 20 installations planned at select Canadian Tire locations this year.
As the popularity of Electric Vehicles continues to grow, Canadian Tire pairs up with Electrify Canada to make them more affordable and easy. The initiative is expected to make Canadian Tire Corporation one of the leading EV charging station hosts in the country. The provinces that are already expected to get new charging stations include Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec.
The new locations will feature the first-ever certified liquid cooled-cable 150 to 350-kilowatt DC Fast Chargers. It’s compatible with all EVs that have CCS or CHAdeMO charging outlets. All EVs, regardless of maximum charging capacity, can utilize the 150-350W range chargers.
