It’s easy to get caught up in all the preparations of the holiday season, especially when it comes to cooking. But you can take it a little easy with the Festive To-Go offering from Fairmont Royal York. The meal has been curated by Executive Chef, jW Foster and his culinary team.

Festive To-Go
Whether you’re looking for a meal with turkey or ham, the hotel offers options for both. The turkey and ham meals (both have servings for four or eight) come with Brioche Popover Rolls, Butternut Squash & Sweet Potato Bisque and Rosemary & Onion Stuffing. End the meal with either a Homestyle Pumpkin Pie or Mincemeat Pie.

Orders have to be placed by noon of December 22 with pick-up dates on December 24 and 25. If you’re ordering by December 1, you can avail the Early Bird special to receive 25% off. You can order through the website here, with pick-up timings from 11 am – 5 pm.
The Experience
Curious about the experience? Well, the VIBE team was able to try out the festive meal for thanksgiving and it was nothing short of AMAZING. From the pickup to the meal itself, we couldn’t have planned a better evening.
We started off the evening by heading over to the hotel for curbside pickup. All we had to do was stop behind the back of the hotel and the Fairmont team loaded our meal into the car and off we went! It really doesn’t get any easier than that. Once we arrived home, it was time to set up for our ‘Friendsgiving’ feast. We were a little worried that we wouldn’t be able to cook anything properly but luckily everything was nicely packaged with cooking instructions that even a newbie in the kitchen could understand.

After reheating everything it was as good as if it were freshly baked, even the chef at our table gave it a 5 star rating! The bird was nice and moist with the perfect crispy skin and the ham was flavourful and a great addition to the meal.
