New year, new lockdown! Okay, jokes aside Toronto has officially entered its first day of the new lockdown and things have changed quickly. From hanging with friends in bars to transitioning to zoom dates, we’re back to where we started. Keeping a positive mindset is important in these times and we can at least be thankful that we know we’re able to get through this like we did before!

Restaurants
Restaurants are only open for takeout and drive-thru options.

Shopping
All stores (retail, grocery and pharmacies) are open and operating at 50% capacity.
Personal Care
Personal care services remain open and are operating at 50% capacity.
Wedding, Funeral and Religious Services
Wedding, funeral and religious services are able to operate at 50% capacity in each room.
Hotels
Hotels and motels are still open however amenities such as fitness facilities are closed.

The following are closed during Ontario’s newest lockdown:
- Indoor dining
- Fitness facilities
- Museums, amusement parks and similar attractions
- Movie theatres
- Concert halls and theatre performances
- In-person learning until at least January 17
