Yorkville is not just where fashion meets inspiration. It is the brand new home of VIEW the VIBE shared with our new sister publication, SWAGGER Magazine; conveniently located next to Christian Louboutin and across the street from Chanel. The sister-sites moved into SPACES on October 2. SPACES, the Amsterdam-born creative workspace, opened its second Toronto location at 99 Yorkville Avenue, bringing its co-working concept to the posh neighbourhood. The European inspired atmosphere provides a home for like-minded professionals to meet, connect and share ideas – the perfect digs for our two brands.

said Steven Branco, the newly appointed Director of Editorial & Creative, “The site is all about connecting to the city and all that it has to offer. We were looking for a creative space in an upscale neighbourhood to make sure that we are inspired every day to bring Torontonians the content they crave.”
With two patios, summer meetings are going to take on a whole new feel. One overlooks Yorkville Avenue, so we will be able to spot the rich and famous as they shop the designer boutiques. The other looks onto a quiet courtyard and allows us to work outside, but in a quieter setting. The first floor of the building is home to the new Sofia restaurant and bar, Charles Khabouth’s Italian restaurant concept. Events, from whiskey tastings to art exhibitions and charity fundraisers will take place in SPACES, bringing the stories that you want to know more about, right into our office space.

From a design perspective, the open spaces invoke a light, airy VIBE and features local artwork and mid-century, modern décor. Research even shows that features of modern offices, like SPACES with natural daylight, windows with views of trees and plants and better air quality can all help us, remember, concentrate and perform better. Another perfect reason for the move!
