As a beauty editor, I’m lucky to be sent beauty and skincare products almost on a daily basis. In addition to it being my job to try them out, I actually love it. I’ve become fascinated by different textures, ingredients, and formulas and it’s been so much fun to educate myself, my followers and my readers. I love nothing more than chatting about haircare, makeup, skincare, and wellness so the fact that it’s part of my job, is honestly a dream come true. Okay, you know how a mother is never supposed to have a favourite child? Well, I’m not saying this product is my favourite but I’m also not not saying it. This serum has been a true godsend for me even before maskne started to be a thing. My skin has reacted beautifully to it, it smells so lovely (it’s not heavily fragranced, it just smells really clean and fresh), and it fits in perfectly with my skincare routine. It is a little on the pricey side but I love it so much that I kind of don’t care. Well, I do but what’s a girl to do? I apply it morning and night and it’s just never let me down.

As someone with hereditary dark circles, I can’t leave the house without a dab of concealer on at the least. I love that it’s a light formula but it has amazing coverage that doesn’t look thick or cakey. Plus, it’s packed with a serum that works to hydrate and brighten the under-eye area. Fresh Rose Petal-Soft Deep Hydration Lip Balm
Since we’re all wearing less lipstick these days, lip balm has been more important than ever to keep our kissers hydrated and smooth. I have loads of lip balms on the go but my top fave is this rose one from Fresh. It smells amazing, feels so nourishing on the lips and isn’t sticky or weird at all.

Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum
Some folks love switching up their fragrance by the day but, I’ve stuck with the same one for years. Yes, it’s a little high school with its fruity vibe but pre-COVID I’d even get stopped on the street being asked what my scent is. I can’t count the number of times I’ve re-purchased it but I honestly can’t think of a time that I’ll stop. It smells like me and my past and I love that I carry it through my present and into my future.
