This Much Anticipated Sustainable, Luxury Hotel is Now Open in The 6ix

The day has finally arrived! Toronto’s new, and highly anticipated, sustainable sanctuary is open, and we couldn’t be more excited. Built in partnership with Mohari Hospitality, 1 Hotel Toronto is the sixth property in 1 Hotels portfolio. To commemorate the grand opening, 1 Hotel Toronto is hosting a ‘Tree Planting ceremony where they are going to locations around The 6ix planting native 2021 trees.

1 Hotel Toronto

This sustainable hotel is not only talking the talk, but walking the walk when it comes to being environmentally friendly. Not only is 1 Hotel’s on-site composting program fuelling their multiple gardens, but they are also planning to divert a significant amount of waste from landfills, and is powered by renewable energy sources.

The Amenities

This 112-room hotel features both raw and textile materials locally sourced from around Ontario. Each room comes loaded with amenities, including: heated floors, an array of plants, organic cotton linens, yoga mats, organic bath products, and an in-room water filtration system with reusable tumblers and carafes. 1 Hotel Toronto also features a rooftop pool, The Fieldhouse fitness facilities, and their locally curated retail space, Goodthings.

Multiple Food Concepts

1 Hotel Toronto has not one, not two, but FOUR restaurant concepts for guests to choose from. Each with their own distinct vibe.

1 Kitchen

1 Kitchen offers plant-based food and drinks, cold-pressed juices and sustainably harvested fish and proteins. This restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining, and is open all day.

Flora Lounge

Located in the centre of 1 Hotel Toronto, Flora Lounge is the perfect spot for some delicious cocktails and a light snack.

Garden Pavillion

This unique event space is the home of all 1 Hotel Toronto’s plants. Grown in-house to supply to all restaurant concepts, this beautiful space can fit up to 40 for an intimate gathering.

Lobby Marketplace

This is where you can pick up some of 1 Hotel’s farm-fresh fare. Open to hotel guests as well as the public.

Aside from the four concepts mentioned, two more will be opening soon. Casa Madera, a coastal cuisine inspired concept; and Harriet’s Toronto, their rooftop, open concept sushi bar.
