On BT Toronto’s Foodie Friday feature this morning, hosted by Dina Pugliese and Sid Seixeiro, they continued their focus on Stella Artois’ Rally for Restaurants initiative. Today, they featured a local King St West hotspot, Regulars Bar.
But, as Dina puts it, their menu is known to be nothing but “Regular”
The Regulars Smash Burger
Made with a chuck beef patty stuffed with cheese sauce and smashed with Spanish onion, this burger is topped with extra cheese sauce, pickled jalapenos, cremeni mushrooms, bourbon bacon jam and cassava chips on a potato bun. Did we mention it comes with house fries? Sid just couldn’t keep his hands off it. 😉

Regulars Bar’s Tempura Mushrooms Maki Roll
A vegetarian option on the menu that Dina sunk her teeth into without hesitation. How can you go wrong with tempura mushrooms! Add soy sauce, ponzu mayo, scallions, chilis, ginger and we’re shocked they weren’t licking their plates too.
Deepa and Sid’s Favourite: The Tempura Broccoli
Which was “TTIIIGHTTT,” as Sid put it on the show. I’m sure it wasn’t mind blowing, but I’d also challenge you to try and just have one… Especially with the gochujang sauce and arare rice pearls. I can already imagine myself sitting on their corner lot patio with the misters going sipping a tall one of Stella–sounds like Summer to me!
