Mongrel House at TIFF
The TIFF celebrations were in full swing all throughout the city! One of the top events that made it to the list was the launch of the 5th Annual Mongrel House at TIFF by Canadian independent film distributor, Mongrel Media. The multi-day event honours nine of their films premiering at TIFF and 25 years of curating some of the most unique and creative films of our times.
It was hosted by Mongrel Media, Sony Pictures Classics, and the Italian Trade Commission. Guests had the opportunity to make use of a Cineplex photo studio and enjoy delicacies from a variety of stalls. Some of these included a pasta station from Eataly, a butter chicken and samosa booth from Butter Chicken Roti and refreshments from FIJI Water. The drinks were on point too with cocktails from CIROC, Tanqueray Gin and Bulleit Bourbon, a Johnnie Walker bar, and coffee from Barocco. The dessert portion was taken care of with sweets from Dunk Restaurants.
Other top event partners included Volvo, The Globe and Mail, Anica, Laura Mercier, World Class Canada, Willendorf, Incredible Printing and Hoame.
