Mamakas Taverna
Experience the flavours of Aegean cuisine at this Ossington hotspot. The menu offers a selection of Greek cuisine classics, including sharable meze plates, plaseafood dishes, salads, meat items (grilled lamb, roasted chicken, beef), baklava and so much more. They’re open for dinner daily from 5pm.

Myth
The Greek spot, which opened on King Street last year, serves a variety of dishes inspired by the flavours of Mykonos. The main focus of the menu is sharable platters, followed by seafood options including a seafood tower (lobster, shrimp, oysters) and a few meat dishes. This is accompanied by an extensive drinks menu. Myth is open everyday from 5pm.
Messini
Situated at Danforth, the restaurant is most well-known for their authentic gyros. This comes with protein options like pork, chicken, and mixed lamb/beef. They also have souvlaki and different appetizers like Greek fries, deep-fried calamari and gyros pizza. Messini is open for lunch and dinner daily from 12pm.

Krystos
With a location each at Dufferin Street in North York and Sumach Street in downtown, Krystos offers a wide range of dishes drawn from Greek flavours. This includes everything from pizza, pasta and burgers to seafood and souvlaki dinners. There’s also a Souvlaki Lunch option for their lunch menu. They’re open from 11:30am during the week and from 12pm on weekends.
Pantheon
The restaurant has been a Danforth staple since 1997. The menu sections are split into hot and cold appetizers, meat platters, mixed grills, seafood and souvlaki dinners. Reservations can be made online here and Pantheon is open daily from 11am.
Mezes
If meze meals are your thing, then this is the Greek spot to check out. They’re not kidding around with their options, with the menu featuring a whole lot of vegetarian mezes, in addition to meat and seafood. Reservations for Mezes can be made online here.
