For this one, we’ll be exploring some of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto, because as know, the Thai food scene in the city is unlike any other. Here are the top six Thai restaurants in Toronto of the week:
PAI
When it comes to talk of Thai cuisine in the 6ix this restaurant, by Chef Nuit Regular and her husband Jeff, of course comes to mind. The menu features delicacies that represent Northern Thailand, with its selection of starters, curries, pad thai, and rice. A separate vegan menu is available as well. Khao San Road
Khao San Road is another spot that was initially opened by the Regular team but is now owned by Monte Wan. This one is all about transporting people to the streets of Bangkok, which features the street name after which the restaurant is named. Some of the featured dishes include Bangkok-style Pad Thai, Khao Soi, and the Squash Fritters. For reservations, check out the site.

Isaan Der
This restaurant, helmed by Chef ‘Ko’ Chatsuda, invites you to experience the flavours of the Isaan region in Thailand. Rice, noodles, and curries are all staples on the menu. Isaan Der has a set of featured dishes, which include Chicken Satay, Khao Soi, Pad Si Ew, Tom Kha Soup, and more. No reservations are needed.
Si Lom Thai Bistro
A variety of Thai street food items await at Si Lom. The broad menu covers everything from starters and seafood to noodles, rice, and soups. Curries with chicken and beef, along with pork-based dishes are available as well. Reservations are not needed.
Nimman Thai Cuisine
The restaurant hosts traditional Thai cuisine dishes, all made from ingredients that are sourced directly from Thailand. According to Nimman, some of the most popular dishes are the Tom Yum, Pad Thai Hor Kai, Garlic Tiger Shrimp, Massaman, and Green Salad Mango, among others. Reservations can be made on the site.
Bangkok Garden
Having been around the city for more than 35 years, Bangkok Garden is a revered spot that has also gained recognition from the Thai Consulate. The restaurant features both an all-day menu (rice, grill, wok, noodles, seafood, curries) and an unlimited tasting menu (entrees, rice, and dessert).
