As being home to the multi-award-winning artists Drake and The Weeknd, Toronto is well-known for its rising artists. The large city has so many opportunities for creative people to gather and express their emotions and talents and with a large community to support them. In the past year, more have gotten the chance to express themselves through the new platform, TikTok. As the pandemic put the world on hold, these artists spent time sharing their creativity. Here are some of Toronto’s newest upcoming artists:

Well, this is Toronto’s favourite music duo, Crash Adams. Their unique presentation has certainly caught the attention of many fans and has helped them spread their music and laughter during these tough times.

Beginning their stardom during the good old days of Music.ly, the Caleon Twins have certainly become a TikTok symbol with their comedic twin cameos. To this day, they have amassed millions of followers on TikTok and have been recognised by the city with a billboard at Dundas Square. They have made an appearance on family shows like Family Feud Canada and we hope to be seeing more of them soon.

Vivian Hicks is gaining attention for her angelic and beautiful voice through TikTok and Instagram. With over a million followers on TikTok, her content consists of her doing singing challenges and having fun with her loved ones. Auditioning for American Idol back in late 2019, hopefully, Toronto will become home to another major pop-star.
