There is no better way to embrace the summer season than at Toronto Taste, lakeside at Chorus Quay. It’s one of my favourite Toronto events, not only because the most talented chefs come together, but because of the cause that drives the entire event.
A couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to taste some of the most delicious dishes from top chefs at Baro, Lavelle, Kanpai Snack Bar, Bar Reyna, Ufficio, and more.
Each dish helped serve 1.8 million meals to people facing hunger across Toronto. Toronto Taste 2017 raised $925,000 for Second harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue charity with a vision for “no waste and no hunger.”
