Meet on Main
While in the area, you might want to check out the latest little culinary hot spot to open on Main Street: Meet on Main. After a few false starts due to final tweaks, permits and what have you, doors are officially open and they’re excited to welcome guests to this humble and hip abode. They’ve got plenty of veg-friendly options (the menu is pretty heavy on them) but meander into the meat side with four different styles of burgers to choose from, cocktails, craft beer and more.

This weekend, be sure to grab your self a spot for the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’ as the Colour Run comes to Vancouver. This fun, all-ages paint race celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality and is one of the largest community-driven fun runs in North America. Best Catch Sustainable Seafood Festival
Don’t miss the third annual Best Catch Sustainable Seafood Festival this Sunday, September 14th. Hosted by the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, it’s a free community event that helps promote the value of making ocean-friendly seafood choices (sounds good to us!) and features live cooking demonstrations, food tastings, live music, and more.

The Dance Centre
Get inspired this weekend and check out The Dance Centre open house on Saturday for a day of free classes, workshops, studio showings, and more.
