Summer is officially here in Toronto and the city has fully returned back to life. There’s nothing like Canada Day in The 6ix and now you can even visit The ROM for FREE to celebrate! Shake things up and spend the day exploring and learning in one of Canada’s best museums. Although the city is full of Canada Day activities, this is something you can do for free with the entire family!
The ROM will be FREE on Canada Day
The Royal Ontario Museum has announced that their admission fees will be waived from 10am to 5:30pm on Canada Day in honour of the celebrations! If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to visit one of the best museums in the country, this is your chance!
Not only will you have free access to all 40 permanent galleries, but you will also be able to visit their two featured exhibits: Great Whales: Up Close and Personal and Fantastic Beasts™: The Wonder of Nature. There will also be a new exhibit to explore on Canada Day called Commemorative Royal Objects which celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee. Oh good jolly, isn’t that exciting? PS. You usually have to pay an additional fee to enter these special exhibits so definitely take advantage of the free admission!
