After just two days in court where Jian Ghomeshi is being tried for four counts of sexual assault and one of choking, the prosecution and the defence weren’t the only ones at odds with one another. Media personalities and journalists alike are holding each other accountable for potentially damaging choices of words when speaking of the trial. So far, only one alleged victim has taken the stand to be cross-examined by Ghomeshi’s powerhouse lawyer Mary Henein, but that’s already provided substantial material for social media showdowns. We expect The Star’s Kevin Donovan may get his fair share of haters after describing the first complainant as,”a struggling actor and part-time cocktail hostess seven years older than Ghomeshi,”
