Made in St. Johns Newfoundland, Hounds Black Vodka is in a league of its own. It pours sleek black in colour out of the bottle. Look for notes of lemon, vanilla, spice and wheat. Medium-bodied and fruity with a touch of sweetness, the finish is silky smooth. Serve over ice with cranberry juice, soda water and a lemon.

When drinking rum, most picture themselves sun bathing on the sands of a hot beach destination. Piña Coladas, Mojitos, and Mai Tais. But in reality is there is so much more to Rum. I’m personally a big fan of a good dark and stormy — or even swap out the dark rum for some white rum and I’m good with that too. Bacardi is really working to change that reputation, and this limited-edition “haunted” bottle does exactly that. It will (quite literally) light up your Halloween party. Aguamiel Tequila

No no, not the kind that got you sick back in your college days. This is the good stuff. It might not be spooky, but there are a tone of great spook’ified cocktail concoctions that the Aguamiel tequila would be the perfect fit for. This Canadian owned brand was established in June 2018. Their master tequillier Augustin Sanchez Rodriguez sources 100% Blue Agave from Jalisco, Mexico to make this tequila — so ya, it’s authentic too. It’s subtly sweet with notes of pepper, vanilla, earth and lemongrass. The finish is long, warming and spicy. 😉
